Each piece of Kula Herbs soap is wrapped in handmade paper, made from the bark of a mulberry tree, by artists in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The open weave of long, strong fibers gives the paper great breathability, a wonderful, uneven look and a unique texture. Designs are created by hand on a floating bath surface and then applied to the cured mulberry paper. The process is lengthy and requires much skill. And it is well worth it! No two pieces are alike. Each one is an original work of art.
